Walter “Snooky” James, born on Long Island, New York was raised in Jacksonville, North Carolina.  As a Theatre Arts and Physical Education major at Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina, he is credited with a diverse repertoire of musical and theatrical productions, encompassing Godspell, Cabaret, and Hair.  A natural tenor, Walter has performed at weddings, community events, and with various choirs and has the gift of performing in various musical styles. In addition to Livehouse, Walter has also shared the stage with Jodeci, Sweet Soul Music Revue (Germany), and Clarence Carter. 


Chris Coleman a native of Leasburg North Carolina, started playing guitar when he was 12. Over the next 20 years he would learn 5 instruments, receive awards, produce for or perform with  some of music's best local and national gospel, R&B, and Blues recording artists. Chris and his brother built Colebro Entertainment Inc. A full service music production company. SInging tenor, Chris also lends his vocal background talents to the band. 

 Ladell "Deep Style" Yates originally started in music playing piano at the age of 8. From the age of 12 he learned to play drums, baritone horn, valve trombone, bass, keyboards,and percussion. In 1986 Ladell concentrated his efforts on writing and production. He has since worked with a plethora of talent in virtually all styles of music and has performed with Lakeside and Slave. He has also recorded with Vanessa Williams, Shanice Wilson, Soft Touch (Background for MC Hammer), Tim Green (writer and producer with Cameo and Stacey Q), Jay Henry (engineer and producer for Heavy D, Bell, Biv, Devoe, LL Cool J, etc.), and Maria Howell (“The Color Purple”).

A native of Salisbury, NC, Brian "Sticks" Roberts’ love for music was made known at an early age. His need to create sound on any available surface and with anything he could put in his hands earned him the nickname “Stickz”. Although his passion is for drums and percussion, he is also skilled on brass instruments from the trumpet to the sousaphone. Brian has played for churches all his life and has shared the stage with artist such as LaRue Howard, Marvin Sapp, Clint Brown and Trent Corey, to name a few. He has also lent his considerable talents to the theater.

Thomas "T-Time" Robinson is a multi-instrumentalist (playing instruments including piano, drums, bass, acoustic/lead guitar, saxophone, etc.) and a vocalist. He has been playing and singing since the age of 16 and is adept at performing nearly all genres. As a solo performer he has performed songs from artists such as George Straight, Brian McKnight, Jamie Foxx, Garth Brooks, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, The 4 tops, etc. Lending his many talents to the band, Thomas primarily functions as one of the lead vocalists and keyboard player extraordinaire!
